Hello, I've just received the above-quoted announcement on Debconf-announce. I am puzzled: I glanced over the mentioned URL and two things struck me as unclear. • The DebConf13 schedule links each talk with videos hosted on http://meetings-archive.debian.net/pub/debian-meetings/2013/debconf13/ under three formats (high ogv, low ogv, high webm): why another location (http://www.irill.org/videos/debconf13) for videos under different formats (webm, mp4)? Are they the same videos in different formats? • The IRILL website claims that the videos are under Creative Commons by-nc-nd v3.0 fr, which is a horribly non-free licensing choice! On the other hand, videos hosted on meetings-archive.debian.net are luckily under an Expat/MIT-like license (http://meetings-archive.debian.net/pub/debian-meetings/LICENSE) which is a very simple and good DFSG-free licensing choice. Why are videos hosted by IRILL not released under the same Expat-like license used on meetings-archive.debian.net ? Please clarify.
