Hi all. This will be my first DebConf, so I'm seeking some information about how sponsored registration works. Searching on wiki or list archives didn't help. First of all, I'd like to know more about what kind of people are eligible for the sponsored accommodation: is it only for people that couldn't come to Banja Luka without it, or is it meant also for people (like me) that could afford the cost anyway, but with some difficulty? (probably the answer is: "It depends on how much money we have"; fine, the question turns out to be: "Usually, sponsoring budget is enough to fulfill with type of requests?") Then, if I request the sponsored accommodation and my request cannot be satisfied, I of course have to book myself the hotel and everything. To keep the price low I'd probably choose some cheaper hotel than Bosna (such as Damjan). How much time before the DebConf I'll know of this? (it appears that Damjan doesn't have many rooms, so I have to book as soon as possible).
