I understand you are happy we moved to penta, Comas was growing up 
organically need after need, so it is normal that in some moments
you feel like the system was to implode. Also being almost the only
maintainer is not fun.

I think when you started Comas, there was not too much conference 
management software and there was a need, (you have used it also in 
CONSOL, right?), so the natural step was writting something. 
After 2 years, there was some other systems out there and you were
tired, it sounded like a good idea back them to search for something 
better, and we tried penta.
We had penta for 3 debconfs, and we still are not 100 % happy [0], 
some people because the interface and some also because it is again a 
very reduced team of maintainers.
What is the problem 3 years after on asking if we are happy with it
and think about trying something new?

[0] Some people are just happy "enough".

About going back to comas:
Nobody suggested that , specially if that means you being "forced" to work 
on something you are not interested anymore.
