Well, thank you, now I'm subscribed twice.

Debconf insists I use my @debian.org address, which I don't want to use
anywhere, so I don't use it to subscribe to mailing lists, either. I
subscribed to the announce list using an address that is acceptable to
me.

Please unsubscribe lars@debian.org. You put it on the list, you take it
out. Thanks.

Also, it should definitely be enough to follow the list through the web
archive. Forcing people to get e-mail is unnecessary.
