Help with wireless

Hi!

I need help with configuring my wireless. I asked on irc, but didn't get
any answers.

My card is a Linksys WPC54G ver 1.2, it uses ndiswrapper.

I can configure my card by doing this:

vida:/home/marga# iwconfig wlan0 mode auto essid debconf enc ffff-ffff-ff enc open commit

After that, I get signal with the access point.

vida:/home/marga# iwconfig wlan0 wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"debconf"
          Mode:Auto Frequency:2.457 GHz Access Point: 12:ED:27:BA:05:9D
          Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:16 dBm
          RTS thr:2347 B Fragment thr:2346 B
          Encryption key:FFFF-FFFF-FF Security mode:open
Power Management max timeout:0us mode:All packets received
Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-57 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

But when I run wpa_supplicant (with the config shown in the wiki) it's not
configured (wpa_supplicant -w -iwlan0 -Dndiswrapper) :

vida:/home/marga# iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:off/any
          Mode:Managed Frequency:2.457 GHz Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
          Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:16 dBm
          RTS thr:2347 B Fragment thr:2346 B
          Encryption key:off
Power Management max timeout:0us mode:All packets received
Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-57 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

I also tried madduck's config of ifupdown, but it didn't work either.

I think this is some sort of bug of the ndiswrapper, but I don't really know.
If someone can please give me a hint, I'll really appreciate it.
