I'm looking for someone from Russia who're going to visit Debconf so I can join him in St.Peterburg. For now I'm intending to go by train directly to Helsinki. Would someone like to join me?I'm going from Minsk (probably more people from Belarus, but they haven't made up their minds yet), and I can go through St.Petersburg by train. Can you share details on times and costs? Ferry from Tallinn would probably be cheaper and faster for me, but I'm afraid I will have to get a separate Estonian visa, which would be a problem.
For now I plan to arrive in Helsinki on July 9th by direct daily train from St.Peterburg (I did not make my mind yet about which train to go, you may see details on the Finish Railroad site http://www.vr.fi). There you can find that this train costs for about 50 euro for a one way ticket. If you decide to go this way, we may meet in St.Peterburg or, if you like the idea, you may go throught Novgorod (Novgorod - St.Peterburg train or bus is not exspensive, about 5 euro for one way). P.S.: I have a problem with logging into my account at http://www.debconf.org/debconf5/ I have registered with login "martchukov" and e-mail "business@martchukov.com", but system can recognize none of them (while trying to recover password).
