Hello!
We are excited to announce the dates for ScaleConf 2015, and to open the call for speakers.
Dates: 4th to 6th March, 2015
The next ScaleConf will take place from the 4th to 6th of March, at Kirstenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa. Once again, it's a 350-person, single-track conference, focusing on scalability and high availability on the internet today. We'll have war stories from people who dealt with challenges when growing their product, and discussions on technologies and methodologies you can use when you face them yourself.
This year, in addition to the traditional two full days of tech talks, we are proud to bring you an extra day, dealing more with the Business of Scale. This will focus on the issues leaders and their teams face when growing a technology-driven organisation. You'll get to hear from those who've faced the challenges of building engineering teams, growing healthy customer acquisition strategies, maintaining inspiring working environments, balancing customer demands and technical debt, dealing with exit opportunities and more.
We are currently accepting proposals for talks. If you would like to give a presentation, please submit your proposal here:

The presentation slots will be 45 minutes long, including questions. As before, all the presentations will be in English.
The deadline for talk proposals is the 12th of January. Accepted presenters will be notified no later than the 31st of January, although the earlier you submit your proposal, the earlier we can accept your talk.
In addition, if you wish to hold a workshop on a particular skill, technology, or product, please submit an outline to
submit@scaleconf.org. The deadline for workshop submissions is the 31st of January. Workshops can be free, or paid-for.
Many thanks, and looking forwarding to seeing you there,
The ScaleConf Team
