Dear debianites, Here you have the announcements for the last day of DebCamp. As we say every day, we really need volunteers, for the conference to function. Please volunteer some shifts every day! See the end of this email for video volunteering opportunities. [0] https://debconf25.debconf.org/volunteers/ === Stay hydrated === Remember to drink water, it is especially important with this heat. There is a water fountain between Centre-Vie and the Amphis. And, unless there is a "Eau non-potable (non-drinking water)" red sign next to a tap, it is safe to drink water from it. === Speakers info === Speakers, please, double check the schedule! Some changes happened and your session may have moved to another time or day. From now on, no talks will be moved to another day. If there is any strong reason for a change, we would rather avoid swapping days of any session, only the time within the day. If you haven't done so, please read the videoteam advice for presenters [1] if your talk is in a room with video coverage. Please test your laptop with the AV system. You can do this at one of the video team training sessions, or even in a gap between talks, when video team are available. If you are expecting to have a jitsi call or any other kind of remote attendance in your talk, be sure to coordinate this with the video team in their physical room or on #debconf-video on IRC. Let's get ready for the amazing DebConf week ahead! [1] https://salsa.debian.org/debconf-video-team/docs/-/blob/main/advice_for_presenters.rst === Day trip registration === If you haven't done so, you find more details about the different day trip options and register for them at: https://debconf25.debconf.org/daytrip/ The registration for day trip D is closed, but registration for the other options is still open. If you want to participate in those day trips, please register as soon as possible. Option A is free (as in beer) and has many spots available. Options B and C only have a few spots left. They also carry a cost that every participant will need to self-pay. We are not making any profit from them. An invoice will be generated to pay for these on the conference website. === Room vacating procedure === Camping du Goulet ----------------------- Please wash cutlery, dishes and all the kitchen equipment that you have used. Give the cabin a general cleaning, including the floor and surfaces. Remove bed linen and put it on the table. IMT Atlantique ----------------- Please remove the bedsheets and put them on the floor. Empty your garbage bin into one of the bins outside. Make sure the room is in the same shape as when you arrived, and give the room a general cleaning, if needed. === Wearing badges === As a reminder, it is mandatory to wear your attendee badge when you are in the venue. If you do not, you will be removed from the venue by Security. === 13th July fireworks and additional buses from Brest Liberté today === As a prelude to the 14th July national holiday (yeah, today is the 13th), fireworks will be happening tonight at Brest's harbor, starting at 23h00. Additional 2b buses will leave Brest Liberté. Last departure will be at and 00h15. More information (in French) about the additional buses at: https://www.bibus.fr/se-deplacer/infos-trafic/ligne-2b-service-renforce-feu-dartifice-du-1307; and about the fireworks: https://brest.fr/actualites/week-end-du-14-juillet-plein-les-mirettes. === Video Training === The video team is holding a training session for Video Team volunteers and Talkmeisters will run at 18:00 this evening, Sunday 13th July in Méridienne. We'll cover all roles for newbies and old hands. In particular, if you previously trained for the Director role, please come for difference training to the new version of Voctomix, which we will do at the start of the session. Have a nice last day of DebCamp!
