DebConf 25 Daily announcements - 2025.07.12 - 6th DebCamp day

Dear debianites,

Here you have the announcements for the 6th DebCamp day.

As we say every day, we really need volunteers, for the conference to function.
Please volunteer some shifts every day!

=== Wearing badges ===

It is mandatory to wear your attendee badge when you are in the venue. If you do
not, you will be removed from the venue by Security.

=== Access to the Camping ===

One of our attendees has been assaulted by the occupants of a travellers' camp
between the Cosquer bus stop and the the entrance of the Goulet campsite. We are
following up with the authorities.

We strongly advise attendees going to the Campsite to:
  - travel with the provided magic buses
  - when walking to the campsite, do it in groups, and keep to the opposite
    (left when heading toward the Campsite) side of the main access road. Please
    see the map[2] for details.

=== Video Dress Rehearsal ==

Join the Video Team in Méridienne at 17:30 today to put all three talk rooms
through their paces. More information on the schedule.

=== Video Training ===

Another training session for Video Team volunteers and Talkmeisters will run at
18:00 tomorrow, Sunday 13th July in Méridienne. We'll cover all roles for
newbies and old hands. In particular, if you previously trained for the Director
role, please come for difference training to the new version of Voctomix, which
we will do at the start of the session.

=== Anti-COVID-19 measures ===

Some hand sanitizers are available in common areas, especially on the food
tables. Please, use them. Face masks and some tests are also available at the
front desk.

Please, remember to help everybody to check the air quality of the room where
you are.

=== Early Departure on the 20th ===

If you have to leave the venue before 8AM (the first bus) for the Brest train
station on the 20th, please contact Front Desk by the 14th. We are looking into
possibilities to solve the problem.

Happy hacking,
Nicolas Dandrimont for the DebConf 25 organizers
