This helps us make the conference run smoothly for all attendees. We need directors, camera operators, sound operators, etc. Training for these roles is offered on 2018-07-29 in Room X at 21:00. === Cheese and Wine Party === Item collections are still running. Please register all edibles and liquids on the wiki[1], and bring them to the Cheese Master after lunch on 2018-07-30 (ping olasd on IRC, or SMS +886902123594, or Signal +33617014946). In rooms X and Y we have taped an area behind the podium which leaves enough space for you without making people sea-sick watchingthe stream. The Video Team will love you for that ❤️. Also try to speak loud and clear, our PA can't deal very well
when you speak quietly or mumble, and we want to avoid feedback loops. Remember that listeners may not have your language, so speak a little slower than you're used to. If you arrive ten minutes early to your talk, there is time to check things out with the video team (including your slides!). == Note for the audience == People watching the streams love to hear your comments, thus PLEASE either walk to the mics in the room or wait until you have been handed a microphone. Otherwise your questions and comments will not be listenable in the streams. == Accommodation == AC cards loaded with credits are available from the front desk. As there is a limited quantity of AC cards and as they can only be recharged with credits during the work week, AC cards will be issued one per room and preferentially to newly occupied rooms. To avoid running out of credits, do not operate the AC when the room is not occupied and set the AC to 'sleep mode' when going to bed. There are insufficient keys for some rooms. Work with your room mates to get additional keys cut. Submit a receipt to front desk for reimbursement. Please use the bucket, mop, cleaning fluid made available in each washroom to mop your room's floors. Shower gel is available in each washroom. Please, for the love of olfactory, use it. Laundry soap is available in each laundry room. The laundry machines take TWD 10 coins. == Day Trips == On Wednesday, the day trip busses will depart promptly from MIRC.
