== Post Cards ==
Front Desk now sells postcards, some of which have penguins on them. R15
per postcard.
Pollito says: When pollito elected as DPL, there will be pollito
postcards for DC17.
== Extension cord safety ==
If you wish to hack out in the sun, please don't run an extension cord
across the ground. If you have to, tape it down. The orga room can
provide tape. If it rains, make sure it has sufficient cover or take it
back inside.
Pollito says: high voltage and water don't mix.
Power is also very limited in the Happy Feet hacklab, so we can't use
too many heaters. Especially when people are charging laptops. Each bar
of each of the heaters is 400W. ZA uses 250V, and the single outlet is
rated at 15A. Do the math :)
== iThemba Labs Tour ==
The National Accelerator Lab could possibly organise a tour for us.
Probably on Thursday or Friday. Their website http://tlabs.ac.za/
doesn't seem to be accessible from UCT at the moment, due to a routing
problem.
