Problem: Inode number overflow, too many files in file system.

Hello,

I make backups every day with the command:
growisofs -M /dev/hdc -R -J -V Daily Daily bin.Thursday.txz boot.Thursday.txz dev.Thursday.txz etc.Thursday.txz home.Thursday.txz lib.Thursday.txz opt.Thursday.txz root.Thursday.txz sbin.Thursday.txz usr.Thursday.txz var.Thursday.txz
The DVD is started on Monday with almost the same command, but a -Z instead
of a -M.
But on Thursday it fails with the following:
mkisofs: Inode number overflow, too many files in file system.
:-( mkisofs has failed: 255

Why is this? With only 12 files per day the disc can hardly be
really full.

I'm using mkisofs from the cdrwtools:
mkisofs 2.01.01a73 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1993-1997 Eric
Youngdale (C) 1997-2009 J■rg Schilling

Thanks in advance for any useful help,

Regards,

	Hans.
