I cannot confirm your claims as I cannot see any hint that would

Your new patch still is not correct:
- It does not honor the data structures from mkisofs
- It does not copy over the block addresses from the old
directory entries.
- It does not take care of the probability that the old session
might have been created by other software or by a mkisofs version
that uses different parameters for multi-extent files.
I put out a new mkisofs version that supports multi-extent files in
multi-session mode.
Please try the latest schily source consolidation from
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/schily/
