How about a raw 1:1 copy on DVD media then ?
Like
growisofs ... -Z /dev/sr0=/my/mpeg.mpg
(or an according cdrecord-ProDVD command).
In fact, I tried directly with one cheap DVD to write a 2.7 Gb file and
three smaller one : it works perfectly ???
I don't know why I thought there was a 2 Gb limit on filesize ?
Thank you very much for your answer,
I think you are considering the file size limit of a single file in an
ISO9660 filesystem.
