OPC error with Plextor PX-712A

Hello,

	Now on my third DVD recorder, hopefully this one will last... Anyways, got a 
slight prob here as it refuses to burn any DVDs exiting with ":-[ PERFORM OPC 
failed with SK=5h/ASC=27h/ACQ=00h]: Input/output error". Its known good media 
and the same disc, one -R and one -RW, works with Nero6. Thats the part that 
I dont get because as far as I can tell OPC is done by the drive on demand by 
the burner app, so why does it work in Nero but not with dvd+rw tools?
