/usr/local/bin/growisofs -Z /dev/scd0=cd_image
the DVD+RW disc gets over written with the new image (as it should!) but when I execute the same command through a CRON job, I get this error message:
FATAL: /dev/scd0 already carries isofs!
I tried to erase the DVD+RW by using the command:
dvdrecord dev=0,0,0 -blank=fast (orforce)
and I get the following error message:
dvdrecord dev=0,0,0 -blank=fast

Does anyone out there know why this is happening and why is this command behaving differently in CRON vs. shell? Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Can you please copy me on your responses.
