Actually that's the least of my concerns :), there are only a handful of input drivers with udev rules: evdev, synaptics, wacom, joystick, vmmouse. Only vmmouse is not converted yet, and evtouch is trivial to add.
..but the one I _am_ concerned about is the autoconfig fallback patch which is quite fresh, and seems to have triggered some bugs (thread on xorg-devel@). I haven't been able to reproduce the crasher though, tried on my laptop (intel) and desktop (nvidia/nouveau/nv). But if it can't be made to work 100% then I don't think it's good enough for us at this point, and we can all move on :)
