Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.0.2-7
Severity: important

i'm using a 3dfx voodoo3 2000 agp, with the tdfx driver.

when i use control-alt-+/- to switch video modes, or when a sdl app tries to
switch to full-screen mode, the x server crashes.

additionally, when i use control-alt-fN to switch to a text console, i get the X
stipple instead of the console i was expecting. i can switch back to the vt that
X is running on, but can't use a text console at all.

neither of these problems was evident before i upgraded from woody -> sid.
