Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.0.2-1

While using the tdfx driver for an Velocity 100 graphic board (Voodoo 3
engine), I did not succeed getting an 1152x864x24-bit screen; it was the
setting used with the svga server of xfree 3.3.6 (without any problem).

Neither 1152x864, nor 24-bit mode produces a straight image on an Sony
200 monitor. The higher resolution I could output was 1024x768x16-bit.

I am not very technically fluent, so I will not try to give you at first
too much informations. I would just point out that a similar upgrade on
an machine with an mga 200 (Matrox) graphic board was successful
(1152x864x24).
