Thanks for taking care of this improvement, and especially for the extra
care to handle translations (bumping translation check except for French
and Japanese, and issuing a mail to explain why).

Agreed (at least for the French translation).

It might be possible to overwrite it for some languages, but anyway,
either we believe (as the French and Japanese translators did) that a
short explanation of the tags is valuable in the list, and we add it for
all languages, either we rely on the long description as the current
pages do.

On my point of view, you can safely close this bug.
