http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/ has:

Read the apt-get(8) and the sources.list(5) manual pages for more
   information.

Can this be:

Read the apt-get(8), the sources.list(5) and the apt_preferences(5)
manual pages in for more information.

This makes more people to realize new woody APT capability.

Problem may be that apt_preferences is only available on woody.

Also for network upgrade with APT, I made a script and available on Debian:

  http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/quick-reference/examples/go-woody

It uses "apt-setup" command so it creates right

  /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/preferences

This or similar script can be mentioned.

Cheers.

Hi Osamu!

I'm currently going through some old bugs filed against the debian
webpages. As this one is specifically about the woody(!) release
pages, it doesn't seem relevant anymore. It also doesn't apply to any
of the newer releases.

Kind regards,
Bas.
