The thing is, none direction wants to be played in that webpage, because there is essential no reason to do so. And there _are_ links to both the OSI definition of open source and to the FSF definition to free software in that very paragraph you were quoting. I thought there weren't and that would make your report at least partly sensible, but now that I notice that the links are there I am not really sure what your problem is.... So, the only thing left in your report that needs to be addressed is the "As will become clear in the discussion below" and what it is/was refering to. Like said, I'll try to track that down. From a quick look now (because you seem to be impatient, and I'm having networking problems currently anyway) it seems that the discussion below is neither directly addressing the free software or open source words, but discussing both of the definitions. I personally don't see the real need to throw in the parts below the words free software and open source all around. If you have any real suggestion I guess a patch would be much more descriptive of what you want to have, because I don't have any clue anymore, sorry. So long, Alfie -- The theory is that since we haven't set a date for sarge's release yet, it can't possibly be late, and that therefore adding more people will make it release sooner. Or was it that one about many cooks? No, no, many _hands_. Yes, that was it. -- Anthony Towns, <20030307181306.GB6621@azure.humbug.org.au>
