 Damn it - copying over the Makefile wasn't enough.  I now touched all
the index.wml,v files in the corresponding directories - would that
help?  I see those files correctly generated in e.g.
/org/www.debian.org/webwml/german/CD/netinst/index.de.html - but they
don't seem to be copied over to /org/www.debian.org/www/CD/netinst -
what's the deal there? I'm out of ideas currently....
