 *hmmm*

So - what option do I need to exclude it? I wasn't able to find it in a
quick search across the info pages.... I haven't found a way to avoid
it.

I still don't see the sense to have that huge binary files in the CVS.
After all, how often do they change? So, why revision-control for them?

That would be the same like publishing it on any other host and using
absolute links. Still wondering why we need that much data in the cvs.
It's not _only_ the mirrors, but also the local repositories. And there
the increase is much more than just 10%, usually you have only the
english and your language checked out.

I don't care if it's on debian.org but if it's in cvs. I understand why
the images are in cvs so the page itself can be fully displayed - but I
don't understand why we need this files (that are unlikely to change /
we don't really need revision control for them) are in cvs at all. They
are not displayed inline in the pages, they stand for themself. So it
doesn't make sense to me to have them in the webwml tree.

If it should be mirrored (and I'd like to say yes there - it's not that
unusual that right when you need it the main page is down) is another
question - and I don't really care for at the moment.

 So long,
Alfie
