i linux-image-686-pae - Linux for modern PCs (meta-package) I found that kernel 3.11 is available from wheezy-backports. ~$ aptitude --group-by=archive search linux-image-3.11p linux-image-3.11-0.bpo.2-486 - Linux 3.11 for older PCs p linux-image-3.11-0.bpo.2-686-pa - Linux 3.11 for modern PCs p linux-image-3.11-0.bpo.2-686-pa - Debugging symbols for Linux 3.11-0.bpo.2-6 p linux-image-3.11-0.bpo.2-amd64 - Linux 3.11 for 64-bit PCs p linux-image-3.11-2-486 - Linux 3.11 for older PCs p linux-image-3.11-2-686-pae - Linux 3.11 for modern PCs p linux-image-3.11-2-686-pae-dbg - Debugging symbols for Linux 3.11-2-686-pae
