Hi
I suspect the problems are with the kernel 3.xx as the unstable driver also effects XFCE.
What is strange was that I was running gnome3 shell and kernel 3 on Fedora FC15 on this machine
before I migrated to debian.
So what's Fedora done that Debian havn't ?.


I'll look at /lib/modules and see if something not loaded, I can compare with the laptop running FC15
