What would you think if the listmaster decides to change automatically the content of your message (ie replacing some words or reformating the contents) ? You certainly would think that it is not normal and you would be right.

It is OK to say "DOC attachement are forbidden" and to reject the messages containing a DOC attachment (or eventually to drop the attachment), but not to *ALTER* the message, enforcing a value which belongs strictly to the user.
