Mr. Johnson, I'm beginning to wonder if you actually _read_ the
postings you are replying to. No where, under any circumstances,
would I call Debian "communistic".

You insinuated it. I think you don't quite know what communism is, go read
Karl Marx sometime, he's an authority on the topic.

The Communist Manifesto OK?

What I said was voluntary, cooperative, and therefore an-archic
because no one can coerce anyone else to do anything. There are
rules, yes, but no _rulers_.

That's communism.

Er, no. Read the Communist Manifesto. It's all about things being
imposed. It's about the family being abolished, because only the
bourgeoisie have them, and all sorts of similar stuff. Absolutely
nothing voluntary about it. It can only happen when revolutionaries
'take control' (on behalf of The People, of course).

Now, it may be that there have been no real examples of 'proper'
Communism, as the apologists always try to tell us. The USSR was bad
because it wasn't 'proper' Communism. Which tells me that whatever
'proper' Communism is, even the revolutionaries aren't interested.

Please don't confuse 'Communism' with 'communal living', nor
'socialism' with 'social behaviour'. The difference is in compulsion.
