Sorry Bill, but 3War is supportet since many years and curently
I am using 3Ware controller from 3w6000 (2 channel, 8 years old)
to 3w9500 (16 channels, 5 month old) without any problems...

3Ware has ond of the best support

On the other hand I have recently bought 8 new SATA-2 drives of
750 GByte which would not work on any of my mainboards or some
of my SATA 3Ware 3w9xxx controllers...

Maybe a hardisk problem since all controlles are working fine.
