SCSI-Drive with 10000 RPM?

My WD360GD, WD7400GD and WD1500GD are faster...
They make around 72-78 MByte/Sec

OK, this are SATA, but Western Digital Raptor...
They are Working-Animals!

Oh, I run 8 WD740GD on a Raid-5 3Ware 3w8500S-8LP
with PostgreSQL 7.4 which goes up to 130 MByte/sec.
I have never reached the Values of 3Ware, even in Raid-0
