Re: Dmesg garbage after kernel recompile



Is there some reason you have to compile your own kernels?  If you're
running Sarge, maybe you should just use the prepackaged 2.6 kernels.

If you have to compile your own, maybe you should try starting from
scratch: reinstall the sources, and use a fresh .config file.
