It's much easier for someone to answer your question if you don't munge the facts about the problem. I'm sure you don't mean you actually got mydomain.com. What is your real domain? If we knew that, we could use 'dig' to find out some information about how you are set up and see what is missing/incorrect. My initial guess is that you don't have an entry for 'www.mydomain.com', so that doesn't resolve to anything.
