mh, so i tried explicitly setting colours. this is the config i came up with: base_color= normal=white, default: selected=black, white: marked=yellow, default: markselect=black, yellow: errors=red, default: input=white, default: reverse=white, black: gauge=yellow, default: menu=black, white: menusel=yellow, black: menuhot=blue, white: menuhotsel=white, black: directory=blue, default: stalledlink=white, red: link=cyan, default: device=yellow, default: special=red, default: core=red, default [all in one line, no spaces] it looks usable, right? well, the result is absolutely unusable. try it, stick the above under the [Colors] section in ~/.mc/ini and see for yourself. I am short of filing a bug. -- Please do not CC me when replying to lists; I read them! .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debian.org> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, and user `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system Keyserver problems? http://keyserver.kjsl.com/~jharris/keyserver.html Get my key here: http://people.debian.org/~madduck/gpg/330c4a75.asc
