Raid 0 array on Abit KG7-RAID

Hi, I have an Abit KG7 RAID mb with an hpt370 chip onboard and a RAID 0
array. A few weeks ago, I've installed Debian 3.0 with disks bf2.4 and it
worked with problems. The most important of this problems was that it was
appearing that message continously :

        hde: dma_intr: error=0x84 {DriveStatusError BadCRC} (you
can change hde by hdg)
        hde: dma_intr: error=0x51 {DriveReadySeekComplete Error} (you can
change hde by hdg)

Next, I decided to update the kernel (It was using 2.4.18-bf2.4 kernel)
to 2.4.19. I've compiled with those options

CONFIG_BLK_DEV_PDC202X - PROMISE PDC202{46|62|65|67|68} support
CONFIG_PDC202XX_FORCE - Special FastTrak Feature
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HPT366 - HPT366/368/370 chipset support

But when I reboot it says me :

Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic : VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 72:03

and I think my lilo is good (root = d0p3).

I´ll appreciate any sugerence to start my new kernel (¿any other options
to compile?) , repair my old one (I can start it yet) or download any other
stable kernel that works with my controler. thanks
