I am trying to remove some modules which are loaded
when I boot:
parport
parport_pc
plip
modconf shows these modules as installed (with no
descriptions).
modconf lets me remove these modules (in reverse
order as listed above).
But modconf doesn't update /etc/modules and
/etc/modutils when I exit.
And, of course when I reboot, there they are
again.
Now I've tried running modconf with the following
ways:
# modconf
# modconf --libdir /usr/share/modconf
# modconf --target / --libdir
/usr/share/modconf
What am I doing wrong???
