OT: harddisk temperature

Hello.
I've bought this great mobile rack for my hard-disk so I can take it
to my brother's and make use of his cable connection. And it's so
easy! But I've figured that it might not be a good idea to have it
in between a cd and a dvd-drive, since it really gets hot there! So
how high a temperature can it bear? Is it dangerous at all as far as
data is concerned?
