Hey,

I assume you're speaking of load times and not render times (since
mozilla renders much faster than IE.  The reason for this is that
Internet Explorer is loaded at windoze startup and stays in RAM the
entire time (i believe that you have the option of doing that for
Mozilla on windoze too).  If you want a quicker UI that still has gecko,
check out galeon.
