I think what will help is to install libstlgccport4.5gcc3, but do it this way:
apt-get install libstlport4.5gcc3/unstable
or something like that. The /unstable is necessary, but I'm unclear
as to whether that's the right package name.
You also need to install openoffice.org-bin and a language module. I
have both openoffice.org and openoffice.org-bin, and also
openoffice.org-l10n-en.
Mind you, I now have a conflict with KDE2.2, and can't start the
program, but that is neither here nor there.
