Just curious: Why work around an expensive and inprecise solution (voice
control) instead of attacking the actual cause of the problem: Keyboard
position and type. A good study into ergonomics will likely save your
friend's wrists from pain.
If this is workplace related and the company isn't working to help fix a
fairly obvious hazard, grieve it with your labour union (you have one,
right?[1]), or sic OSHA on them. Workers should be able to go to work
on good faith they'll still have feeling in thier fingers and be able to
bend thier wrists.
[1] HHOS. Unless you know the proprietor of your place of employment
personally, I strongly reccommend organising. Many large employers who
don't have union employees tend to divide and conquor them rather than
treating them like people fighting the same fight they are. I'm a bit
appalled that American labor has seemingly forgotten the lessons learned
during the Industrial Revolution.
