Can you ping a host? Can you ping an IP addres? Try to telnet to one.
Perhaps you need to add your nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf:
domain its.tudelft.nl
nameserver 130.161.180.1
nameserver 130.161.180.65
(use your own)
Is the link up? (ifconfig ppp0)
