Did you look at mount(8), nfs(5), fstab(5), exports(5), nfsd(8),
statd(8) and lockd(8)?  Same for portmap(8) and all of the manpages in
its SEE ALSO section?

What does showmount, rpcinfo and nfsstat report, from client and server?

It's hard to say for me what your problem actually is.
