Re: proftpd won't allow me to connect



ServerType is standalone and the deamon is running

ps -ef 
...
ftpd       288     1  0 Aug29 ?        00:00:00 proftpd (accepting connections)
...

according to netstat -a there is indeed something listening on the ftp
port:

tcp        0      0 *:ftp                   *:*                     LISTEN
