Linux FDISK PROBLEMS
I have down loaded, the debian version of Linux and created the boot
and root disks. They start up fine, however when I attempt to set up a
partition, it cannot get the partition table information.
A little bit about my system, I have a 486 dx2 66 with a Vesa Local Bus
motherboard, on board ide and io ports, with the ide controller disabled.
I have an eide card with its own bios installed to allow me to have
drive 0 being a 325 MB (with 2 partitions C, E) and Drive 1 being an 850
with one Dos Partition (500MB D). The rest of my drive 1 was to be set up
for linux and the swap. When I request a display of the existing
partitions I get a blank screen. The EIDE Card I have is a Future Domain.
Any Ideas ??
