Iceweasel se cierra de pronto

Hola a todos:
hace un tiempo vengo teniendo problemas con mi
iceweasel, tengo debian etch amd64. La verdad es que
no detecto ningun patron que me indique porque puede
cerrarse, solo de pronto desaparece, la salida por
consolo es la siguiente:

open dsp: Dispositivo o recurso ocupado

y se le pongo --sync como entiendo que dice el error
se repite el mensaje tal cual.
