Great.  Generally the hack approach on tug.org works only for
architecture-all packages (no compilation).  For arch-dependent ones,
one has to download the sources (e.g. from etch), make the change in
debian/control, and build it locally with dpkg-buildpackage.

Or ask us to do it, I hope at least for amd64 we'll be able to provide
binaries on tug.org in the long run.  Not at the moment, though.
