Why is amstex divided between tetex-base and tetex-extra?
Hi all,
I just noticed that amstex files are mainly in tetex-extra (and, of
course, tetex-doc), but there are some in tetex-base. There are some
empty directories, and the two files
tetex-base: /usr/share/texmf/pdftex/amstex/config/pdfamstex.ini
tetex-base: /usr/share/texmf/pdftex/amstex/config/pdfbamstex.ini
whereas the corresponding tex files are in tetex-extra:
tetex-extra: /usr/share/texmf/tex/amstex/config/amsppt.sti
tetex-extra: /usr/share/texmf/tex/amstex/config/amstex.ini
tetex-extra: /usr/share/texmf/tex/amstex/config/bamstex.ini
Does anybody remember a specific reason for this? Or is it just an
accident, and the pattern in debian/rules should rather be "/amstex/",
not "/tex/amstex/"?
Regards, Frank
