He states in #197943 he is a little busy and will accept co-maints.
This bug is 116 days old but I think the situation has not changed.

I've been following this package for a while, the grave bug is not
reproducible and has been downgraded.

I claimed this bug some time ago, but Matt was faster sending the patch ;>.
So I can finish the job by uploading it.
