You rather miss my point.  Sorry for not being clear.  The point isn't that 
the current maintenance of the python interpreter packages is great.  It's 
not.  The point is whining about something two days after it's in Ubuntu and 
not Debian is premature.

Even if the current maintenance level were to improve, it looks to me like 
it's very unlikely you'll ever be satisfied.
