Some thoughts:
Debian 7 (wheezy) is no longer "new", it has been out for a long time.
A while ago we replaced "Debian GNU/Linux" on our website with just
"Debian" due to the kFreeBSD ports. I'd suggest dropping that from the
first sentence and adding Debian to "GNU/Linux" in the second
paragraph.
The multiarch paragraph needs a qualifier; not all packages have
multiarch support but the base stuff needed to replace all of
ia32-libs does.
I would replace "almost any" with "most" since there is a lot of
mobile/ARM hardware out there that will never be supported.
