I've a separate comment though. Are you perhaps in touch with the Linux
Mint development community? If so, it would be very useful to point them
to http://wiki.debian.org/DerivativesFrontDesk and to suggest them to
join the debian-derivatives@lists.debian.o mailing list. It is the right
forum where they can get in touch with Debian people about coordination
with derivatives.
